I, Vincent Tinh Dang, the youngest of eight was born and raised in Southern Vietnam. In 1991, most of my family fortunately came to America. I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at St. Joseph Seminary College in Louisana in 2001, followed by Theological Studies at Notre Dame Seminary also in Louisana.
Then I received a degree at St. Patrick Seminary and University in Menlo Park, California.
Perhaps my call to priesthood is formed through the influence of the strong Catholic faith of my parents and siblings, and through participating in priesthood ordinations or taking vows of religious brothers and sisters. In addition, I was influenced by many Christian songs that I had learned from the youth choir, especially songs about priestly life.
It is my belief that the role of a priest is to be a bridge to draw people closer to God.
